With so much choice it’s hard to decide where to go, when first visiting The Ned. I decided to go to an old favourite, Cecconi’s. In the very grand surroundings of the converted Midland Bank Cecconi’s can be found on the right hand side of the front entrance. I love the Mayfair restaurant but here it is a different experience. The decor is super smart. Sit down and be surrounded by the 92 glossy green marble pillars whilst listening to a band on the raised platform in the centre of the room.

I enjoyed beef carpaccio followed by a veal chop accompanied by an Aperol spritz! The food was excellent particularly the veal chop, absolutely divine.
